Prati and I did a backpacking trip of Swiss so we were very choosy about the location of hotels( close to train station) rather than the quality as we were going to be out of the hotel most of the time.
Location: This hotel is a backpackers paradise as its just bang opposite Interlaken west station which means not carrying our backpacks for a long time! phew! Its near the shopping street and the weekly farm market is a 5 min walk away. I picked up some amazing herbs and seasoning from the farm market.
Food: The hotel breakfast is cold and for vegetarians its just bread, cereal and milk.
Staff: There staff was very friendly.
Amenities: None.
Rooms: Our room was facing the river which flows besides the interlaken station. The overall view was blue river flowing rapidly with a backdrop of mountains. A five star view in budget pricing. However it was a pretty small room and also quite dated.
Experience: Positive for budget travellers.
