They said” It takes a certain kind of a person to jump out of a plane at 15000 ft” , “Embrace the fear”. And sure I did !
My skydiving experience in Queesntown, New Zealand has been one of my memorable experiences.
If its skydiving, it has to be Queenstown for the Remarkables and Wakatipu basin (best skydiving spot) and for a safe,professional and warm experience, it has to be Nzone Nzone Nzone. Everything from the booking to transport and the jump were professionally monitored. I would be lying if I said I wasnt scared but all my fear vanished when I met my tandem master Nick. He was very encouraging and friendly. The photographer too was excellent. I have got some of the best pics of my life up at 15000 ft!!
We reached the Nzone shop in Queenstown downtown. They have courtesy transfer to the drop zone from here. The overall return trip takes about 3.5 hour. The driver was also cheerful and started gearing us for the jump right from the car.
As I leave the shop I see the ‘Exit’ sign and my mind ponders whether I will be able to exit the plane ??
We reached the drop zone which itself was so pretty with mountains around. They have a huge outdoor chess which you can play to distract your mind if you are getting scared 🙂
At the drop zone they have a lot of things to keep you occupied or rather keep your mind distracted from fear 😉 You can move around reading the different posters, history, operations of sky dive or just chill in the cafetaria.
Finally it was time to jump….and Fan 5 starts getting ready.
We board the mini plane and off we go….
You get a feeling that you are just a speck in time when you look down from above. While these thoughts are racing your mind its time to land. The crew at Nzone ensures that you have a fantastic landing.
All the photographers that jumped with us did a wonderful job and we got beautiful pics and memories. It gives me goosebumps whenever I ssee my jump video.
Note:
Athough the pics and video are expensive, please make sure to invest in them. Also keep your chin up at all times for some great shots. After all photos are your long lasting memories for life 🙂
So get ready and jump !
