Well, I turned 40 this year! Maybe I should keep that a secret! LoL who cares… after all they say age is but just a number! Nah! Well believe me I would shout on top of my voice that age is not just a number! Dude you would know if you ask those aching joints and back. In the ideal world I would have had a fun frolic birthday( btw my younger sis also shares the same birthday as me) with my Familia in the mountains of Hallstatt, Austria but alas universe had its own plan. A nationwide lockdown was announced due to Covid -19 pandemic and we were all locked up in our houses. Forget holiday we wouldn’t even be able to celebrate the birthday…. social distancing you know!

For people who know me closely I am a ball of energy! I came up with my own small way of celebrating it with myself. I am my favorite by the way! (in all modesty ;). I decided to sing my favorite song and record a video on the same. The idea itself pepped me up ..it was like a line from civic textbook that I learned… for the people by the people of the people… So the video was for me, of me and by me! C’est superrr! Who wants to give their happiness in others hands? I am my own master and slave.

The song ‘Happy’ is my the favorite song. I fell in love with Pharell williams ‘Happy ” song from the moment I heard it. The lyrics, peppy music everything just resonated with my personality. I decided to change a lyrics a little more fitting to my 40 years and shoot the video.

Here is the youtube link of the video on our Family troupe channel : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jC0wmE9izw&t=4s

While I was planning for my own little surprise for me there were a few friends planning a musical zoom session for me. One website just zoomed past all of the rest was zoom. Everyone was practically using the 40 min session to connect with their loved ones. This is an excellent way to surprise your loved ones even without lockdown! Online live music party!

Check out two clips from the surprise music zoom session.

So go ahead and plan surprise for your loved one and let me know how did it go…
